Terms of service
Last updated: April 2026
1. What you're signing up for
A month-to-month email subscription to a weekly competitive intelligence report covering the local competitors we identify with you during onboarding. There is no minimum term, no annual contract, and no cancellation fee.
2. Billing and cancellation
Subscriptions renew monthly on the anniversary of signup. You can cancel anytime from the link in any report email, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate partial months, and we don't refund the month in progress.
3. What we track
Publicly available information about your tracked competitors — their websites, Google Business profiles, publicly visible social media, BBB ratings, public licensing-board data, public news coverage, and similar public sources. We do not scrape authenticated content, bypass paywalls, or collect data from sources that prohibit it.
4. What we don't do
We don't sell advertising against your data. We don't share subscriber information across accounts. We don't provide legal, financial, medical, or regulatory advice. The reports are business intelligence, not professional advice — apply judgment before acting on any recommendation.
5. Your responsibilities
You'll use the reports for your own business operations, not resell them, not forward them in bulk to third parties, and not republish the content publicly. Internal sharing within your business is fine.
6. Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to verify what we report, but local data sources are imperfect and we'll occasionally be wrong. If you spot an error, email us — we fix and re-send, and correct the underlying process.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment, reasonable-use violations, or activity that would expose us to legal risk. In practice this happens approximately never, but the right exists.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
